Application Engineer

Performs applied product engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.  University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.,Bachelors Degree,1 Year,Evaluated in context of the standard size.  Sets operational objectives and delivers results that have a direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area.,Explains facts, practices, policies, etc. to primarily others internally.,Regularly Correct or resolve issues or problems in existing systems and processes.  Makes minor changes.  Less often Adapts or enhances quality or value in existing methods; make better as part of day-to-day activities.,Frequently problems and issues to be addressed generally fall within a single job area or discipline; scope of problem well defined.   Less often, Problems may be only vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other job areas.,Often uses broad theory and principles within a discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.  Occasionally uses advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline integrating theory and principles with organizational practices.,Individual contributor, no direct responsibility for leading others.,Application of knowledge is narrow (domestic) and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture.
