Ops Team Leader

Manages daily production function within a plant for a single large production line or specific large area for one shift. Focuses on development, management, and motivation of production personnel to increase productivity and improve efficiencies.  University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  3 Years suggested minimum experience.,Bachelors Degree,3 Years,Evaluated in context of the standard size.  Often sets and achieves daily operational objectives with some direct impact on others within area. Occasionally sets and delivers operational objectives with direct impact on achieving results within area.,Often explains facts, practices, policies, etc. to primarily others internally. Infrequently uses influence to convince primarily others internally where strong interest exists to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.,Correct or resolve issues or problems in existing systems and processes.  Makes minor changes.,Frequently problems and issues to be addressed generally fall within a single job area or discipline; scope of problem well defined.   Less often, Problems may be only vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other job areas.,Often uses broad theory and principles within a discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.  Occasionally uses advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline integrating theory and principles with organizational practices.,Manages at least three team members; leads, schedules, allocates and monitors work.,Application of knowledge is narrow (domestic) and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture.
