Lead Technician

Supports the execution of assigned Lighting Services projects and ensures work is performed in compliance with requirements. Ensures Johnson Controls staff and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards.  University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.,Bachelors Degree,1 Year,Evaluated in context of the standard size.  Sets and achieves daily operational objectives that have some impact on others within the job area.,Often explains facts, practices, policies to  both internal and external parties. Infrequently uses influence to convince  both internal and external parties that have a desire to reach agreement to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.,Adapts or enhances quality or value in existing methods; make better as part of day-to-day activities.,Problems may be only vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other job areas.,Broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced  technical/operational practices.,Manages less than three team members, or leads an indirect team which may be of substantive size.,Application of knowledge is narrow (domestic) and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture.
