Sets up and operates all welding equipment. Uses hand welding and flame cutting equipment, such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to weld together metal components (flat, horizontal, or vertical plates and pipes). Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds insuring conformance to specifications. Passes 3G and 4G GMAW weld tests.  2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  4 Years suggested minimum experience.,Associates DegreeTechnical Degree,4 Years,Evaluated in context of the standard size.  Often delivers own output according to specific operational targets and occasionally delivers own output within broad operational targets with significant impact with the job area.,Often obtains and provides information to primarily others internally.
