Research & Development Design Engineer

Plans, directs, and executes basic design projects related to new product development, redesign of existing products, and/or production modifications. May have some responsibility for CAD deliverables to the customer, layout/packaging coordination, release coordination (using EPIC), and CAD studies.  University degree and 1 year suggested minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years suggested minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.,Bachelors Degree,1 Year,Evaluated in context of the standard size.  Sets operational objectives and delivers results that have a direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area.,Explains facts, practices, policies, etc. to primarily others internally.,Regularly Correct or resolve issues or problems in existing systems and processes.  Makes minor changes.  Less often Adapts or enhances quality or value in existing methods; make better as part of day-to-day activities.,Problems may be only vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other job areas.,Often uses broad theory and principles within a discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.  Occasionally uses advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline integrating theory and principles with organizational practices.,Individual contributor, no direct responsibility for leading others.,Application of knowledge is narrow (domestic) and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar culture.
